i think....
we should be able to prioritize attacks based on what order we place them on the bar.
Skills closer to the left would be prioritized over skills on the right.

I gave Koss a warrior build using evis & axe rake( forgot which one), and he kept using axe rake first, because there was lesser adrenaline. THen he used evis....
I gave koss a dolyak signet (20 second long), bonetti defense, drunken blow, desperation blow build and he never used bonetti defense.

You do that too, huh? Seriously though it only makes sense to be able to set henchies up with a skill priority list. It would be nice if we could bind small parts of the AI, like setting up numbers on skills for example
Now the bright red is just valid now as there isn't a red class, it may require its own section of the interface the way I see it now/the way I drew it out is...
default = @, use any time the AI sees fit
right click once, get a number, starting with 1. This will be labeling those skills to be used in that order once all are ready. Perhaps multiple colors or something to denote multiple combos.
right click a second time and get <75 again <50, again <25, telling this character to use these skills when they have less than that percentage of health themselves.
And of course, right click a fifth time to get a big red X over the skill in the tiny AI bar, denoting it to not be used by the AI at all.
Of course, if they could just teach the AI how to use skills I would be happy as a tick, since my suggestion is more a stopgap solution to some character types builds....

How do you control your hero, to STOP them from using a skill? And no, use another skills isn't an option, you might not want them to do anything, because it would be a waste of adren or energy.

Useful if I have a melee heavy team to go with my Paragon's Anthem of Flame, but don't want my ranger to keep lagging behind the team (and shout range) because she's casting a spirit.
Or to keep those Mo/Mes from casting Parasitic Bond after Inspired Hex.

Have you even read the thread? There are some things built into the AI that the heros do not yet grasp the concept of and some I think they possibly never will. I would like this so I could lock all but one Hero's res signet, so that they wouldn't all three stop what they were doing to try to res as soon as someone dies, then I could unlock them sequentially.

Great idea!
/signed for right-click to toggle not using skill with left-click to manually use it when the skill is turned off

lol as in rez when I tell you too not in the middle of a big F**K Off battle! lol Yea. I agree with that...
left click check use (training),
right click don't use.
The heroes do learn what to use eventually... But it takes a good bit of time training, but there is not a way to keep them from doing something...
Like the monk using Vigorous spirt when it is not needed... ect... that kind of thing... Or Mending till all regen is gone... BAH silly heroes... I finally had to just remove some skills to get them to stop using it.

this would be great especially for hard res. You could disable it until it is needed then switch it on so they wouldnt res in the middle of a fight.

/signed for disabling skills.
Though putting this feature in is NOT AN EXCUSE for Anet to not fix some of their AI issues, like trying to "Heal" a person being spiked with Vigorous Spirit.

I think that they should have a stronger AI on the heroes so they know when to use certain skills. For example when to heal and when to spam a skill.
I put cleave as my heroes elite and he actually spammed it when it came available, but he didn't heal until he was almost dead.
